The Haven
This is our newest addition to Full Life Farm. We have purchased an additional five acres with our friends Jeff and Annie, just 1/2 mile from our existing farm. Jeff and Annie have also independently gotten an additional 10 acres across the street, where they will work on building their house. Meanwhile, we have moved a mobile home onto the shared property that we can all use while we are working on building our respective homes.
So far, we've fenced off about a quarter acre for goats, built some basic shelter for them, and let them work on clearing it so we can grow vegetables there later on. We've also started a small patch of potatoes, tomatoes, beans and melons.
