Anyone staying at Full Life Farm should be comfortable tent camping for the duration of your stay. The farm has no running water, we use an outhouse, and have only limited solar electricity, which is primarly used for running irrigation pumps and occasional power tools.
Showers, laundry, internet, etc. are available 1/2 mile away at the Haven . All interns and WWOOFers are housed at the farm. For convenience, and because projects at the Haven need daily attention anyway, we are currently taking most of our meals there, where there is a conventional kitchen. wwoofers are, of course welcome to cook and share meals with us.
There is also a state park within walking distance of the farm, with a lake and some short walking trails. Most volunteers should plan to stay for at least four weeks, because it takes time to learn about how we do things and to get comfortable with our processes and lifestyle. We are specifically looking for interns interested in a longer stay.
